The Roses Carnival is one of the most anticipated events of the year in the Catalan town and in 2023 it will return with all its activities after the health crisis. From February 16 to 20, the city will be full of music, dance and joy. The programming includes everything from the welcome party of His Majesty King Carnestoltes to a mobile disco with some of the best DJs in the region.
Friday, February 17 is a night not to be missed, with a Passada de Noche along Rhode Avenue and a dance with the cover group la Bruixa Express and Pelukass in Frederic Rahola Square.
Saturday, February 18, will be a day full of activities for all ages, with an Afternoon Pass, a children’s discomobile with Gres-k Planet and a concert with the cover group Los 80 Principales.
Sunday, February 19, will be a day for the proclamation of the kings and queens of the Carnival and for a popular arrossada in the Municipal Sports Pavilion.
The celebration comes to an end on Monday, February 20, with a mortuary procession of King Carnestoltes, burial of the sardine and a pyrotechnic show.
